My friend mentioned that this temple is privately owned and built in the traditional Kerala-style architecture, which adds to its unique charm. We entered the temple, prayed to Goddess Mahalakshmi, and then sat on the nearby lawn to soak in the peaceful surroundings.
Deities in the Temple
In the sanctum sanctorum, you will find the idol of Goddess Mahalakshmi, along with the idols of Sridevi, Bhudevi, and Maha Vishnu. This beautifully designed temple is a short 17.4 kilometers from Kodaikanal, located on the road to Poomparai village. The temple is easily accessible via public transport.
